Also note: Although the Lodge and part of Mount Greylock sit within the town of Adams, no roads go from Adams to the Lodge. One must approach the mountain from Lanesboro, North Adams or Williamstown.
From Vermont:
Route 7 South.
Route 2 East.
In Williamstown, going towards North Adams, look for Notch Road and the sign for Mount Greylock Reservation on the right (just past Shell Station). Take right.
NOTE: at reservoir take left. Do not go past reservoir.
Lodge is at top of mountain.
From MassMoca:
Route 2 West.
In North Adams, going towards Williamstown, look for Notch Road and the sign for Mount Greylock Reservation on the left (just before the Shell Station). Take left.
NOTE: at reservoir take left. Do not go past reservoir.
Lodge is at top of mountain.
From NYC area:
Taconic Parkway north, to last exit before toll.
295 East.
41 North.
20 East.
7 North.
Continue
north into Lanesboro. Watch for the Mt. Greylock Reservation and Visitor
Center signs on the right (about 2 miles north of Lanesboro town line).
Turn right onto North Main St. and follow Mt. Greylock and Bascom Lodge
signs 9 miles to the summit.
From the Mass. Turnpike:
Take
exit #2 in Lee.
Rt. 20 West.
Rt. 7 North.
Continue north to
Lanesboro. Watch for the Mt. Greylock Reservation and Visitor Center
signs on the right (about 2 miles north of Lanesboro town line). Turn
right onto North Main St. and follow Mt. Greylock and Bascom Lodge signs
9 miles to the summit.
From Albany, NY:
90 South.
20 East.
7 North.
Continue

The Mount Greylock Visitor Center (413-499-4262) is on the Lanesboro side of the mountain, just
before entering the gates to the Reservation (the summit and Lodge are about 20
minutes past the Visitors Center).
