The lodge provides overnight accommodations for thru hikers on the Appalachian trail, tourists up from the city for the weekend, as well as families on a mid-week getaway with the kids. With a mix of both group bunk bed rooms and private rooms, the lodge can accommodate 34 guests in a diversity of rooming arrangements.
Like the lodge, the rooms are small. Intimate private spaces, softly lit by amber lights, open into common rooms with broad hardwood floors, fieldstone fireplaces and dark paneled walls. Our rooms reflect an era of quiet comfort against a back-drop of rustic adventure. The splendidly designed stickley furnishings, organic cotton sheets, blankets, and pillow cases together with a bottle of Saratoga mineral water on the bedside table will help refresh the body and soothe the spirit. The lodge does not have televisions.
